Help Wanted

We are looking for volunteers to help with the next volume of MindCandy. Below is a list of open positions. Select the ones you're interested in, and provide your information in the form below. We will reply by email with further details.

Contributors will be graciously rewarded with free DVDs and maybe more!

Help Wanted - Positions Available
Menu Graphics
We're looking for an artist to design the DVD menus. Good 3D and/or 2D animation skills are a must, plus a vague sense of Amiga style.
Intro Clips
We're looking for several short video clips (around 10 seconds long) to introduce the DVD. After you insert the disc and press play, a random intro will be chosen and played, then you'll be taken to the main menu. Use your imagination, just make it fit the Amiga/demo theme. Clips should be in PAL (720x576, 50fps) format. If possible, we would also like an NTSC (720x480, 60fps) version, otherwise we will have to create it from the PAL version ourselves.

Status: Just one clip in so far, more wanted!
Expert Demo Commentary
We want every group to comment on their own demos, but there will inevitably be gaps. This time, we're looking for true Amiga scene experts to fill them in. Fluent, understandable English is a must. If possible, a group of people commenting together would be ideal.

Status: We still need commentators! This is a high priority position.
Commentary Transcripts
Many people have suggested that the audio commentary should be accompanied with subtitles, for those who don't understand spoken English so well. This is a good idea, but also a bit time consuming. What we're looking for right now are people who can listen to the commentary tracks and type out the words, in English, one line per subtitle screen. If we get more than one volunteer, we can split up the demos. Once that is done, we'd like to assign volunteers the easier task of translating the subtitle text into other languages.

Status: Closed until we get more commentary offers.
Menu Music
We are looking for more of the same great talent that provided us music for the menu screens in Volume 1. Music pieces should be 40-60 seconds in length. They will be looped when you play the DVD, but you must include a 1-2 second fadeout at the end because most players don't loop perfectly. You can submit previews in MP3 format, but the final version should be a 48KHz, 24-bit stereo WAV file.

Status: We have a good amount of music, but more (and better) music is welcome. :)
